Portsmouth vs Aston Villa News:
Portsmouth manager Tony Adams will put new signing Hayden Mullins straight into his squad.
But midfielder Richard Hughes is ruled out (hamstring) and Nico Krancjar (groin) is struggling to be fit.
Emile Heskey is poised to make his Aston Villa debut after signing from Wigan on Friday.
Luke Young is available after serving a one-game ban but namesake Ashley serves the second match of his three game ban after seeing red at Sunderland.
Portsmouth manager Tony Adams:
"Hopefully everybody will show a bit of patience with me because times have changed. But there is no use complaining, I am fighting and I am fighting hard.
"I know I will overcome every disappointment because I have done it in the past. There is no point moaning about it.
"I am not a runner and I am not going to run away from anything. On Tuesday night the wife may want me to be at home but I will be out there trying to win football matches for Portsmouth.
"We have now got one job and one job alone and that is the Premier League, getting points - starting with Villa."
Aston Villa manager Martin O'Neill on new signing striker Emile Heskey:
"We are in a decent position. We need to keep the momentum going. We have been without John Carew now for over two months and Ashley Young is still suspended.
"We have young players like Nathan Delfouneso who will be an exceptionally good player if everything works out and Gabby Agbonlahor has done fantastic up front on his own.
"But Emile will give us another option. He can play with Gabby and John when he is back fit."
