It's a clear day at The Oval. David Lloyd feels the surface will have good pace and bounce. Chris Gayle has won the toss and will field. He says: "Even though the pitch is good, I don't see why we can't chase. It would have been nice to get some time between games, but hopefully we can put up a good fight against South Africa.
"Hopefully I can hold on to a few catches wearing these sunglasses."
Graeme Smith would have liked to chase too, but he is not too upset with the toss. South Africa have made no changes to the team that thrashed England. Nor have West Indies tinkered with the winning combination.
